چکیده

Virtual reality is a technology that allows one to carry out simulations by presenting three-dimensional visuals and atmosphere through device called Head-Mounted Display (HMD) or VR HMD. To make HMD selection, users must know the specifications of product be selected, this course makes selection process long it difficult choice. This study aims develop decision support system implementing Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assessment (WASPAS) approach for selecting HMDs, in order easier decisions. The WASPAS method can determine best alternative prioritization relevant weighting used. Based on case conducted, results were Shinecon 6.0 Box with value 0.9021, followed Enric 0.8965, Yoko 0.8179, VRPark 0.8158 BoboVR Z5 0.7827. built has produced valid calculations, because calculations obtained manual produce same value. On usability testing get an average 90% fall into good category. shows developed easy use feasible implement.

The development of a symptom questionnaire for assessing virtual reality viewing using a head-mounted display.

PURPOSE Virtual reality devices, including virtual reality head-mounted displays, are becoming increasingly accessible to the general public as technological advances lead to reduced costs. However, there are numerous reports that adverse effects such as ocular discomfort and headache are associated with these devices. To investigate these adverse effects, questionnaires that have been specific...

Latency Compensation for Head-Mounted Virtual Reality

Latency greatly degrades the usability of head-mounted virtual reality systems. This paper discusses consequences of latency, examines sources of latency, investigates techniques to reduce latency, and proposes to integrate existing solutions into a system that approximates zero latency for the most critical types of errors. First, effects of latency are examined such as degraded user experienc...

Music Education using Augmented Reality with a Head Mounted Display

Traditional music education places a large emphasis on individual practice. Studies have shown that individual practice is frequently not very productive due to limited feedback and students lacking interest and motivation. In this paper we explore the use of augmented reality to create an immersive experience to improve the efficiency of learning of beginner piano students. The objective is to...

Text Entry in Immersive Head-Mounted Display-based Virtual Reality using Standard Keyboards

We study the performance and user experience of two popular mainstream text entry devices, desktop keyboards and touchscreen keyboards, for use in Virtual Reality (VR) applications. We discuss the limitations arising from limited visual feedback, and examine the efficiency of different strategies of use. We analyze a total of 24 hours of typing data in VR from 24 participants and find that novi...

3D spatial interaction with the Wii remote for head-mounted display virtual reality

This research investigates the design of a low-cost 3D spatial interaction approach using the Wii Remote for immersive Head-Mounted Display (HMD) virtual reality. Current virtual reality applications that incorporate the Wii Remote are either desktop virtual reality applications or systems that use large screen displays. However, the requirements for an HMD virtual reality system differ from su...
